Terms of Sale

1. Nature of the Contract

Through this web portal, the customer (understood as any individual or legal entity) can purchase the various products offered by METODO FASE. For products that METODO FASE does not have in stock at that time, its role will be limited to channeling the customer’s request to the distributor. If the distributor confirms the availability of the product requested by the customer, the customer can initiate the purchase process through this web portal based on the established terms and conditions.

2. Registering as a Customer

It is essential to register on the website as a customer to:

  • Change the account access password.
  • Check the status of pending orders.
  • View or modify your personal data.

Registration is not necessary to make a purchase.

To register as a customer, you must fill out the registration form in the “My Account” section (accessible at the top right in the main menu) or at any time when prompted for login credentials (on the ‘login’ page).

Your email address and a password are the credentials that identify you as a customer. If you have forgotten your password, select the corresponding option, and we will send it to your email inbox.

You can modify your personal data (change of address, email, etc.) or change your password by accessing the “My Account” option in the main menu. If you place an order, the data registered at that time will be used for that order.

3. How to Purchase

The contract between METODO FASE and the Customer will be finalized in Spanish.

It is not necessary to be registered as a customer to make a purchase (see the previous point). From the product description page, after clicking the “buy” button, you will access a form with all the information about shipping and payment options. Once the purchase is finalized, your registration data will be considered for the completion of the purchase, generating an electronic document that will be archived by METODO FASE; this document will not be accessible, although you can check the status of your order. Any errors in entering your data must be corrected before finalizing the purchase. If detected immediately after finalization, you should contact METODO FASE immediately to report the issue.

For titles that are not “immediately available” (“not available” book; “out of stock” book), the information on availability and price will be provided by the distributor, with METODO FASE merely channeling the customer’s request to the distributor. Once the distributor confirms the existence and price of the product, the customer will be informed by email to proceed with the purchase process through this website.

The prices indicated on our website include VAT (Value Added Tax).

For orders placed from countries outside the European Community, the total order amount should be reduced by 4% for books and 21% for objects and audiovisuals, corresponding to the Value Added Tax (VAT).

4. Acknowledgment of Receipt

Once the purchase is finalized, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within 24 hours, specifying the purchase details.

5. Payment Methods

You can choose the payment method from the different options indicated during the purchase process. To do this, access the “shopping cart” and select from the dropdown menu the payment method you prefer.

6. Billing and Shipping Information

By default, the shipping and billing information is what is recorded in the customer’s registration file. Billing information only needs to be entered if it differs from the shipping information.

7. Shipping

For shipments, the shipping costs will be added to the total order price. If the order consists of multiple products, we will try to group them into a single shipment whenever possible and if it does not excessively delay delivery.

The final shipping cost is provided to the customer during the purchase process, at the time of data confirmation, and always before confirming the purchase. This amount includes the applicable Value Added Tax (VAT).

For shipments to non-EU countries, METODO FASE will not, under any circumstances, cover the payment of taxes, customs duties, or other charges.

8. Order and Invoice Delivery

METODO FASE will provide the customer with the corresponding invoice at the time of order delivery. For domestic shipments, the order will be dispatched within 7 business days from the purchase finalization. For international shipments, the delivery time should be previously consulted with METODO FASE. The credit card will be charged at the time of shipment.

9. Security and Confidentiality

All personal data transmissions are carried out through SSL (Secure Socket Layer), a system that ensures the confidentiality of the data sent. The personal data requested are always strictly necessary. METODO FASE commits to not using them for any purpose other than agreed upon and to not transferring or selling them to third parties under any circumstances. This data is stored in METODO FASE’s database. The customer can access it at any time through the website to modify it.

10. How to Check the Status of an Order

To check the status of your pending orders, go to the ‘My Account’ option at the top right of the main menu. After logging in (on the ‘login’ page), you can access your orders page, where you will find pending titles sorted by order date and an indication of the order status.

11. Cancellations and Withdrawal

Orders can be canceled without any cost before the shipment is made. If we receive a cancellation notice once the package has been shipped, it will be considered a return.

If you decide to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must complete the corresponding withdrawal form, indicating the order number, and return the product through the same channel it was received, in perfect condition. Returns can be made up to 7 business days from the product’s receipt, provided they have not been opened or used and retain—if applicable—the original seal or packaging. This does not apply to the sale of items that can be immediately reproduced or copied or that, by their nature, cannot be returned, including ebooks and other items listed in Article 102 of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users.

12. Applicable Jurisdiction

In the event of any conflict or discrepancy in the interpretation or application of these contractual conditions, the competent Courts and Tribunals will be those determined by the applicable legal regulations on jurisdiction, which, in the case of end consumers, correspond to the place of fulfillment of the obligation or the buyer’s domicile.

This is without prejudice to the Client’s right to appeal to the Consumer Arbitration Board in their jurisdiction.

In the case of a sale conducted by a company, both parties expressly submit, waiving any other jurisdiction, to the Courts and Tribunals of Valencia (Spain).
